1. Create notes or illustrations of the physical layout of the network
2. Determine & note the type of server and software (i.e. Outlook, Active Directory, storage space, etc.)
3. Inspect for a Server backup & if none make appropriate recommendations.
4. Discover & make note of number of computers and users: also, make & model.
5. Usage of the server and network (i.e. databases, file shares, user programs).
6. Determine if the network is wireless & the equipment or wired.
7. Inspect for other peripherals such as printers, fax & copy machines.
8. Check for surveillance equipment: note type if any.
9. Detect your company's ISP Info/Router information.
    

II. FUTURE PLANS FOR YOUR BUSINESS: (Question we may ask)

1. Ask about any current issues that your company may be having with its network, hardware and peripherals.
2. Ask for any particular upgrades the customer may have in mind.
    

III. We will then make suggestions and recommendations and discuss plans to implement new concepts and upgrades.
